My research is concerned with the intersections of language, power, and social hierarchies, particularly in the Indian context. I am interested in exploring: How language constructs and sustains social hierarchies and power dynamics. The caste system in India through the Wittgensteinian lens of: Rule-following, Contextual meaning, Language games; Extending Peter Winch’s interpretation of Wittgenstein to analyze social sciences and the structures of domination embedded in language.
