Research Focus: My research focusses on understanding the Quaternary Fossil record of the Indian Subcontinent. The study of Quaternary vertebrate fossils are essential to understand past environments, faunal adaptations and human-animal interactions in South Asia. For my doctoral research I will be working on the fossil and artefactual evidences found in region of Central Narmada Valley. My research will aim on improving the approaches to Taphonomy by studying the preservation patterns observed in the fluvial contexts. I want to explore application of advanced methods such as Stable isotope and Radioactive isotopes for Paleoenvironmental reconstruction with a precise and high resolution bio-chronology.
