- Thangsiandong Guite (working with Dr. Debdulal Saha) awarded by the Center on Global Poverty (CGP), John Hopkins University for his contribution to the area of poverty. His article “Communitarian Resilience: Localised Arrangements and Poverty Mitigation among the Mizo Tribes” analyses poverty in Mizoram and foregrounds the Mizo experiences within wider academic debates on global poverty.
- Nilkantha Pal (working with Dr. V. Rajesh) awarded the RSVP Expanding the Field Prize 2024 by the Victorian Periodicals Review for his article “Imagining Childhood in Colonial Bengal: Children’s Periodicals, Readership and Vernacular Publishing, ca. 1880-1920”. His article will appear in the Victorian Periodicals Review in Spring 2025.
