Research Focus: My research focus is on the transformation in the agrarian societies and the rural economy due to globalisation, privatization and urbanization. I’m studying the contemporary peasant movement against the three farm laws introduced by the Indian government. I will be studying the changes in the rural landscape and agrarian distress in villages of Haryana (India).
