Research Focus: My research is an exploration into the contours of literary historiography in Punjabi with express focus on the emergence of literary history in Punjabi in the 19th and 20th century. I aim to engage in the exegesis of select modern and pre-modern Punjabi texts which chronicle the literary historical consciousness of Punjab, while also investigating into the preponderance of particular literary mediums of 20th century wherein Punjabi literary sensibilities were ensconced.
