Research Focus: My research focuses is on the contesting politics of urban public spaces of resistance and the process through which these spaces are constantly constructed. Focusing on the trajectory of resistance sites in the city of New Delhi in the post-independence period, the study aims to explore how negotiations between various power actors structure and restructure public spaces for better and effective engagement in democratic politics.
