Research Focus: My research is centred around urban geography and ethnomusicology. I will be producing an ethnography of ‘unclassical, marginalised, and dissenting’ music(ians) in Delhi by situating labour, value, and affect in the urban condition. I aim to answer what an ethnomusicological imagination of ‘right to the city’ looks like. My study will highlight the asymmetrical spatial experiences of select urban musicians who navigate the city through their cultural labour.
