Welcome to the website of Department of Mathematical Sciences, IISER Mohali.
The department has a strong research profile in many areas of pure mathematics including algebra, topology, number theory, analysis, probability, operator theory, representation theory, algebraic geometry, geometric group theory, differential geometry.
We offer an integrated master’s program (five years), integrated PhD program and a PhD program. We also have a large number of postdoctoral fellows working in the department.
