DBS has state of the art facilities for both in-house use and the scientists from other academic institutes. The experimental facilities  include Super Resolution Microscope, multiple Confocal Microscopes, Table-top Atomic Force Microscope, Scanning Electron Microscope, Light Cycler, Thermal Cyclers, Fluorescence Activated Cell Sorter (FACS), Stopped Flow Rapid Kinetics Optical System, CD Spectropolarimeter, Biacor Surface Palsmon Resonance (SPR), Analytical Ultracentrifuge etc. DBS has several  high end multi-processor computer workstations for Bioinformatics research work. Apart from research, DBS is well equipped with multiple large practical labs for teaching labs. DBS has also established a high-end teaching usage – low-end research usage (HETeU-LEReU) lab to specifically meet the requirement of education cum research in an economically viable manner.
