Walk-in interview on January 20, 2026, to work as a Project Assistant in a research project funded by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT)
IISER Mohali (Department of Biological Sciences) desires to recruit a Project Assistant in the project entitled “Exploring the Role of PEP-PEPR Signaling in Shaping Plant Growth and Development under Iron Deficiency”.
Number of Positions: 01
Duration: 1 year (extendable after review)
Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. or equivalent degree in Life Sciences (preferably in Plant Molecular Biology, Botany or Biotechnology) with minimum 60% marks.
Preference will be given to candidates with prior research experience in performing all of the following techniques: plant tissue culture, molecular cloning, gene editing technologies, and Agrobacterium-mediated plant transformation.
Emoluments: Emoluments as per DBT norms and as sanctioned in the project.
