Walk-in interview for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a research project funded by Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF), Govt of India
Project title: Studying the role of NAC062/NTL6 in activating cytokinin signaling and stem cell niche maintenance in response to extreme cold, and how it affects stem cell division and differentiation potential in the Arabidopsis shoot apex.
PI: Dr. Ram K Yadav, Associate Professor, Department of Biology
Number of Positions: 01 JRF (Junior Research Fellow)
Duration: Initially for 1 year, with the possibility of extension to another year, subject to satisfactory performance and the availability of funds. The notice period for termination is one month.
Essential Qualifications: Postgraduate degree in Biological sciences, including Biotechnology, Plant Molecular Biology, Genetics, Genomics, Biochemistry, with a good academic track record, must appear for the walk-in interview.
Desired qualification:
- Candidates with prior research experience/hands-on training in Plant Biology, Molecular Biology, and computational biology are strongly encouraged to apply.
Emoluments: INR 37,000 plus HRA as per ANRF project norms
Selection criteria: Candidates are requested to appear for the walk-in interview on 24th April 2026 and should report to AB2 by 10.00 am with their CV and supporting documents.
The selected candidate will be required to join duty at the earliest upon receipt of funds from the ANRF.
