The Department of Mathematical Sciences at IISER Mohali desires to engage one researcher on a temporary basis under a SwarnaJayanti Fellowship project ‘Knots, Groups and Actions’ sponsored by SERB/ANRF.

Name of Position: Research Associate-01

Essential Qualifications: Ph.D. in Mathematics with expertise in knot theory, braid groups and related topics.

Work description: The selected candidate will work with the principal investigator on topics around knot theory, and participate in the departmental teaching activities.

Emoluments: As per the rules of the funding agency. 

Duration: 05 Months (01 August to 31 December 2025)
