Online-in-interview on Aug 24, 2021 at 10:30 am for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Position (Chemistry) under a SERB-DST, India, funded project at IISER Mohali
Title of the project: Studies on the construction of enantiomerically enriched medium-sized ring-based dibenzoazepine, dibenzoazocine and allocolchicine biaryl alkaloid motifs containing amino acid and amino alcohol backbone via C-H functionalization route and their biological activities
Project duration: 5 Months (may be extendable depending on the DST’s approval).
Fellowship and HRA: As per SERB-DST rules.
Terms and Conditions: As per SERB-DST rules.
Essential qualifications: MSc/MS degree in Chemistry/Chemical Sciences (or equivalent degree) with NET/CSIR/UGC-JRF (or) GATE qualification.
Preferred/Desired essential qualification: Given the nature of the work and short duration of the project, candidates having prior experience on working with similar type of research projects and co-authored publications will be highly preferred. Applications received will be shortlisted and only shortlisted candidates will be interviewed.
