JRF position in Bioinformatics (DST/SERB)
Title: Functional and trans-regulatory constraints of long-range spatial cross-talk among genes
Number of Positions: 1
Duration: One year (extendable to further 1 year after review)
Essential Qualifications: Masters degree in Bioinformatics/ Genomics/ Human genetics/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Life science/ Computer Science/ Statistics/ with at-least 60% aggregate marks OR B.Tech degree in Bioinformatics/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science with at-least 60% aggregate marks, passed out not earlier than the year 2014. Basic computer programming skills and inclination towards computational biology are desirable, but not mandatory.
Responsibilities Along with a team of students, the selected candidate will work on large genomic and epigenomic datasets to address questions pertaining to genome organization and regulation thereof.
Emoluments: As per DST guidelines.
