IISER Mohali (Bioinformatics Center (BIC) of Department of Biological Sciences) desires to recruit a Project Associate-I in the BIC and NNP projects entitled: “Large-scale genomic and proteomic data analyses” and “Computational investigation into the role of alternative splicing in cellular differentiation, tissue regeneration, diseases, and evolution"
Title: Project Associate-I position for Bioinformatics/Computational biology
Number of Positions: 04
Duration: 12 months (extendable after review)
Essential Qualifications: BTech in computer science/Information technology, Masters or equivalent degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computational genomics, Data science/AI, Systems Biology, human biology (or equivalent subject), Masters in computer applications (MCA)with a minimum of 60% marks. Candidates should preferably have experience in programming and should have strong motive to work in the area of computational biology/Bioinformatics. Previous work experience will be preferable.
Emoluments: Rs. 25000 + 16% HRA
