People
Ankita Priyadarshini Masters in Biotechnology from Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University, Bhubaneswar

Ankita is a senior research fellow in our laboratory. She is very fascinated about understanding the crucial role played by the non-coding portion of the genome which is often regarded as “junk”. Her work mostly revolves around deciphering the mechanistic role of epigenetic regulators such as long non coding RNAs and enhancers involved in impaired diabetic wound healing.

Saijal Gupta : Bachelors and masters in Zoology from Jammu university , Fellowship: JOINT CSIR UGC NET JRF , ICMR JRF

Saijal is doing her Ph.D with our team. She is interested in studying the role of Neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs) in manifesting diabetes and its associated vascular complications. She is a national level skater and fencer. She finds baking therapeutic and also like journaling and at times she enjoys poetry.
