DST funded FIST centre at DBS hosts high end instruments like super resolution microscope and the metabolic analyser. DBS has performed exceedingly well through the FIST support. A large number of high-quality papers including PNAS, Nature Comm, PLoS Pathogen, JBC, EMBO J. The DST-FIST grant has made a huge difference in the teaching and research quality of the department. Several new areas of research have been embarked on by the faculty members and the associated students.
