Walk-in-interview for the post of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in a funded project (SERB-21-0259)

Project Title: Salmonella infection mediated obesity and diabetes a new tale of study using Caenorhabditis elegans

Outline of the project: The project aims to understand the impact of Salmonella infection on obesity and diabetes. The project utilizes experimental approaches using C. elegans, microbiology, physiology, and infection biology.

Positions: One

Duration:  six months

Emoluments: 42000 with 8% HRA (No accommodation)

Essential Qualifications: Masters in any branch of Life Sciences with first division or equivalent CGPA, and the candidates should have qualified National Eligibility Test /or GATE or any other equivalent national level exams. A minimum of 3-4  years of research experience working with C. elegans and microbes will be given preference

Desirables: Being familiar with all basic microbiology techniques, molecular biology, microscopy, and cell biology will be an advantage.
