Advertisement for  Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position for DST-QuST project

Title of project: Quantum computing, controlling decoherence and quantum simulations on an NMR quantum computer

The project is part of the Theme-2 Cluster proposals under Quantum Information Technologies funded by Department of Science & Technology, Govt of India.

Position: Junior Research Fellow

Number of Posts: One

Duration: 8 months (upto March 31 2024, extendable if project is extended).

Essential qualifications:
Masters degree in Physics  or BTech degree in Engineering Physics with a good academic track record. MSc/BTech should be obtained NOT earlier than 2022.

Desirable qualifications:

Familiarity with Quantum Computing (Theory or Experiments), NMR spectroscopy, Linux operating system, Mathematica/Matlab programming.

Emoluments: The emoluments will be as per DST rules.
