Advertisement for the post of SRF under DBT/Wellcome Trust India Alliance Senior Fellowship project entitled “Mechanisms Regulating Membrane Fusion with Lysosomes and Lysosome Reformation”

 

IISER-Mohali (Department of Biological Sciences) desires to engage an SRF on purely temporary basis on contract under the DBT/Wellcome Trust India Alliance funded project at IISER-Mohali.

Name of Position: Senior Research Fellow

 

Essential Qualifications: Master's degree in Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Molecular Biology with minimum of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA. Must be qualified with CSIR NET-JRF/LS, or UGC-JRF/LS, or GATE (Biology/Biotechnology) (with a valid score); Must have minimum two years research experience at JRF position. Prior work experience in performing confocal microscopy and live-cell imaging experiments using mammalian cells is essential. Further the candidate should be well versed with all of the following techniques: image analysis, cell culture, protein-protein interaction assays, cloning, recombinant protein production, and yeast-two hybrid assay.

 

Emoluments per month: Rs. 35,000-/- + HRA (as applicable).

 

Duration: Initially for 1 year and extendable for 1 more year.

 

Age: Should not be more than 35 years.
