Project Title: Regulation of RNA splicing in Schizosaccharomyces pombe

Outline of the project: The project aims to understand regulation of RNA splicing in the fission yeast Schizosaccharomyces pombe. The project would utilize experimental approaches in molecular biology, genetics and biochemistry.

 Positions: 1



 Duration: 3 months (extendable up to 6 months after review)

 Emoluments: As per DST rules

 Essential Qualifications: Masters in any branch of Life Sciences with good academic record and a minimum of one-year research experience working with project(s) involving molecular biology, genetics and biochemistry in fission yeast Schizosaccharomyces pombe, with expertise in co-immunoprecipitation and RNA splicing experiments.
