The discourses on Citizenship  based on the idea of &lsquo;Indigenous\/Native vs. Migrant\/non-native&rsquo;, which are  otherwise known as Autochthonous discourses, even though rightfully aid  marginalized groups in asserting their social and political rights, have a  tendency to assume a majoritarian approach towards the idea of nation-state  when appropriated by the numerically dominant communities of the land.
