\n Research Focus<\/strong>: Work and labour, urbanization, informality, sociology of work and organization, gender and feminist theories. I worked on the issues around work, gender, and women in service industries, urbanization, and informality at the pre-doctoral and doctoral levels. In my doctoral research, I studied the impact of technology on human relations that reshape bureaucratic restructuring in the care industry in private hospital settings in urbanizing city. My focus was on labour processes, nature of work and the transformation of work at the capitalist workplaces from the Marxian Labour Process Analysis. With rapid digitalization in the production, workplace and relations have shifted from its traditional forms. Thus, drawing from these theoretical lens, I propose to understand how technology is shaping the work organization and labour process in digital world, especially for women.
